- Choose Your Starting Section: Math First or ELA First.
- Adaptive Difficulty: Correct answers lead to harder questions; incorrect answers lead to easier ones. Math adapts with each question, while ELA adapts from passage to passage—not within a passage.
- ELA Navigation: move freely within a passage, but once submitted, you cannot return.
- Math Navigation: answer each question before moving to the next.
- Same Time, Fewer Questions: 3 hours, with 50 Math and 50 ELA questions—100 total, down from 114.
